Wendy’s Inspired Chili Recipe

Ingredients:
2 pounds of fresh ground beef
1 quart of tomato juice
1 (29-ounce) can of tomato purée
1 (15-ounce) can of red kidney beans, drained
1 (15-ounce) can of pinto beans, drained
1 medium-large onion, finely chopped (approximately 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup of diced celery
1/4 cup of diced green bell pepper
1/4 cup of chili powder (adjust to taste for desired spiciness)
1 teaspoon of ground cumin (add more for a deeper flavor)
1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
