Grate the apple and place it in a large bowl.
Add the plain yogurt and egg. Mix well until everything is well combined.
Sift in the flour along with the baking powder. Gently mix until you have a thick, smooth batter.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Optionally, lightly grease it with butter or oil.
Spoon portions of the batter into the skillet, forming small round pancakes.
Cook each pancake for about 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with honey, fresh fruits, extra yogurt, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
