– 200g (7 oz) mushrooms, sliced (such as cremini or button mushrooms)
– 1/2 cup white wine (optional)
– 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
– Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
